Cleveland Sands: Lamb Shank, Seafood Platter for one

Another visit to the Cleveland Sands and a new $9 jar cocktail to try. 

This time it is a Buckaroo which contains:

Jim Beam, peach schnapps and apple juice

We then visited the Bistro. Philip was in the mood for lamb shanks with mashed potatoes and gravy

I enjoyed a seafood platter for one. Delicious.

Redland Bay Hotel: Seafood platter

On my birthday I was whisked to the Redland Bay Hotel in Redland Bay. I was lured with the promise of a Seafood Platter for Two and I was so excited when it arrived that I forgot to take some photos! 

A description from the Redland Bay Hotel website:

Indulge yourself with 2 fresh sand crabs, 2 Moreton bay bugs, fresh prawns, oysters kilpatrick and natural, garlic prawns & served with chips and fresh fruit.

It was delicious! I shared it with Philip, as well as some going to my Aunty Jo and Uncle Dennis. 

I took this photo as I was leaving a very full and happy birthday girl!
