Thai Siam: Steamed pacific oysters, stir fry fish with ginger, chilli and basil

A Saturday night Date Night at the Thai Siam. I'm in the mood for oysters and Thai Siam has some of the most amazing steamed pacific oysters that are twice or three times larger than normal and delicious.

Afterwards we ordered some stir fry fish with ginger, chilli and basil. Another favourite dish we order over and over again. The combination of ginger, chilli and basil with the fish is a very tasty stir fry. The fish was well cooked and the vegetables also. The coconut rice that accompanies it makes it a perfect meal.

Restaurant: Funky Mexican Cantina Raby Bay, Cleveland QLD - Funky's combinado to share;Chimichunga;Camarones Al Chipotle

I love living in Cleveland, QLD. Just a short stroll to Raby Bay Marina and the many restaurants and cafes that share an amazing view. I had invited some friends from the Illawarra and Sydney to stay and we noticed the new Mexican restaurant, Funky Mexican Cantina. The interiors were bright and fun, using bright reds and greens, yellow and black for contrast.

We took our seats and ordered some cocktails whilst we looked over the menu.
