I was on Facebook and saw a post by Little Indian Palace

It's that time of week again...TASTY TUESDAY TIME! Spend $25 or more and get ONE meal COMPLETELY FREE when you share and comment on this post! *not valid with any other offer *one per table/take-away

I phoned up my Aunt and asked if she wanted to share some Indian food and we soon settled on

2 Garlic Naan @ $3.95 each
1 Papadums @ $2.50 each
Madras Coconut Curry @ $15.95

Which came up to over $25. We then ordered a Butter Chicken meal for FREE!

When I picked up the food there was two tubs of rice for FREE! A great surprise!

The food was so nice and I was so hungry I didn't take photos. It is rare but it does happen!

I love the Garlic Naan and used it to dip into the  Butter Chicken sauce which was amazing.

My Aunt and Uncle enjoyed their meal as much as my husband and I did.

Cleveland Sands Hotel, QLD - Three Course Tuesday

Three course Tuesday - Garlic bread, 250g Rump or a Schnitzel plus Dessert $19.95

When I saw the flyer for the three course meal for $19.95 I suggested to my hubby that we go there on pay day. It was a cold night and we felt like staying indoors under blankets but pushed ourselves out for our reward meal.  

We went up to the counter and ordered, then took our seats.

Fairly soon our garlic bread arrived. YUMM!

Delicious garlic bread started the meal. We had two pieces each and it was soft inside and crisp on the outside, just the way i like it. Very nice!

Then the highlight of the night - the 250g rump steak with bernaise sauce.

Philip's steak was cold when it arrived, so it was sent back and replaced with a steak that had steam pouring off it. He was very pleased and ate all but a mouthful, knowing he had dessert yet to come.

The dessert came out when we had finished our steak and the fruit cake was steamed and covered in custard, with a dollop of cream and  sprig of mint.

I'm not one for fruit cake but I ate most of mine. Phil did a little better. We left very full and sated after our three course meals.  Great value, especially for a carnivore like my husband.

Thai Siam , Cleveland - many return visits

I can't count how many times I have visited Thai Siam since we moved to Cleveland three (3) years  ago. It's just THAT good. We love our duck and seafood which is why the following menu items feature them.

Apart from their amazing menu, Thai Siam also has a great wine and beer list and some amazing cocktails. I have loved everything I have tried, especially the French Martini.

They have a lunch menu (priced $9-15) which features many of their house specialties in a lunch meal portion. Meals include:  Laksa Seafood rice noodle soup ($15); Pad Thai noodles with chicken ($12) , Stir fried beef with chilli, garlic and basil ($12);  Beef with Thai massaman curry ($12) ; Pork with red Thai curry; Chicken with green Thai curry ($12), Fish with yellow Thai curry,  Thai beef salad ($10), Roast duck salad ($16); Vegetarian meals ($10); Fried Rice with pork and prawns ($12);  Thai chicken fried rice $10)

Thai SIam is located in Queen Street, parallel with Middle Street. You can see the Woolworths car park from the front door. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant that caters to Thai and Cambodian cuisine.

I haven't tried the Organic Road nut butters but they sound amazing! Brazil nut butter is new to me but I am a fan of Almond Nut butter. ABC butter sounds like a winner to me!

Tonight I visited my local Cleveland store and unfortunately they didn't offer the Cheaper Tuesday deal but had a Dinner for 4 meal deal

There is no visit to Pizza Capers without partaking of some of their amazing gelato and sorbet! Tonight's choice was Limoncello. Mmm.... Lemon sherbet! $5 a small tub or $10 for the large. Trust me - it is worth every cent! Other flavours include Pistacio, White Chocolate Frangelico, Belgian Chocolate and Mango.

I shared my dinner for four and gelato with my Aunt and Uncle and my husband who thanked me repeatedly. The next time my Aunt and Uncle visit my cousin near Redland Bay store they will call in and get one of the Daily Specials. I love Pizza Capers - Gourmet Everyday!

At my Aunt's house I snapped some iPhone photos of our pizzas. They tasted better than they look! The hollandaise sauce on the Reef and Beef pizza made it oh so delicious! And the Savannah 97% fat free seafood pizza was divine as always!
