Cleveland Sands Hotel, QLD - Three Course Tuesday

Three course Tuesday - Garlic bread, 250g Rump or a Schnitzel plus Dessert $19.95

When I saw the flyer for the three course meal for $19.95 I suggested to my hubby that we go there on pay day. It was a cold night and we felt like staying indoors under blankets but pushed ourselves out for our reward meal.  

We went up to the counter and ordered, then took our seats.

Fairly soon our garlic bread arrived. YUMM!

Delicious garlic bread started the meal. We had two pieces each and it was soft inside and crisp on the outside, just the way i like it. Very nice!

Then the highlight of the night - the 250g rump steak with bernaise sauce.

Philip's steak was cold when it arrived, so it was sent back and replaced with a steak that had steam pouring off it. He was very pleased and ate all but a mouthful, knowing he had dessert yet to come.

The dessert came out when we had finished our steak and the fruit cake was steamed and covered in custard, with a dollop of cream and  sprig of mint.

I'm not one for fruit cake but I ate most of mine. Phil did a little better. We left very full and sated after our three course meals.  Great value, especially for a carnivore like my husband.
