Thai Siam - Roast Suckling Pig

I read on Thai Siam's Facebook page that they had a Chef Special of Roast Suckling Pig for $28 and we headed down for dinner with anticipation. 

Whilst we waited we decided to order some Steamed Dim Sims for an entree. Something we eat a lot of.

The Suckling Pig was very tender, succulent and tasty, especially with the dipping sauce. Yumm!

I would definitely have it again if it was on the menu. Hubby and I went home very happy.

Cafe: Cleveland, Rafferty's Cafe

Living in Cleveland, Queensland I am spoilt for choice when it comes to cafes. My favourite of late is Rafferty's Cafe on the corner of Bloomfield St and Queen Street, Cleveland.

For someone who struggles with finding healthy meals that do not contain gluten in them, I love it when I ask 'do you have anything that is gluten-free' and they point to a number of options available to me. I can breathe a sigh of relief that I don't have to go elsewhere.

One of the options was a roasted vegetable salad. I ate half of it in the cafe and then had the rest for dinner. Mmmm... Delicious!
